Dermal Fillers
In your youth, an abundance of collagen and hyaluronic acid keeps your skin looking smooth and supple.
As time and nature take course, these elements diminish, causing aging skin and loss of definition. That’s where we begin to lose structure and volume, causing unwelcome lines and deep wrinkles.

What are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are used to smooth deep wrinkles, fill facial folds, and enhance various parts of the face structure such as lips, cheeks, and jawline.
They can also be used to fill scars, create a Brow Lift, or achieve a Nasal Tip Lift, otherwise known as a Non-Surgical Nose Job.
Often confused with Botox Cosmetic, Dermal Fillers are not used to correct dynamic facial wrinkles, but instead used to restore lost volume in static wrinkles and to achieve a more youthful and ‘lifted’ look.
With that being said, when Botox Cosmetic and dermal fillers are used together, the anti-aging results are amplified.

Treatment Procedure
At Guelph Medical Laser, we utilize dermal fillers that consist of a crystal-clear gel composed of non-animal sourced hyaluronic acid.
There are many brands of filler available, but we mainly utilize Revanesse, Restylane and Juvederm, which are all high-quality brands of dermal filler that produce impressive results.
After a consultation and developing a treatment plan, the dermal filler will be injected into the desired area, accomplishing the desired look immediately.
Since hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the body, after being injected into facial tissue, it will slowly break down and integrate into the body.
